I saw a man standing in front of the John Kelley Statue in Newton. His head was hung low, and he was sobbing. I felt so sad for him. I talked to Maxwell about it and said, “Maybe he lost someone that he loved very much.” Maxwell sighed, “Or maybe, like me, he just feels so deeply.” In the evening, we went back to the statue and offered flowers and prayers. We do not know this man’s name or his story, but we pray that he knows he’s not alone.
