December 6, 13, 20, 2008, The Ritz Carlton Boston Common

December 6, 13, 20, 2008- Catching Joy, Artsy Mommy, and the Ritz Carlton Boston Common were pleased to organize a wonderful community service project during the Sugar Plum Teas offered each weekend in December leading up until the holiday. The children made home made ornaments- button stars, beaded snowflakes, felt mittens and clothespin ballerinas- to decorate a Christmas tree that was donated to the Pine Street Inn. The beautiful tree was delivered to the one of the Pine Street Inn’s residential homes in Brookline, MA.   Thank you to all the children and families who attended the event and shared in this special giving project!  Thanks to the volunteers that came from Boston College High School and the Junior League of Boston Done In A Day Committee!  Special thanks to Deb Manchester, Founder of Artsy Mommy (see who designed the adorable Christmas ornaments! We hope to continue this tradition with the Ritz Carlton Boston Common next year!
