Catching Joy was pleased to support the Newton-Brighton drive for Cradles to Crayons from November 2-6 and sorting day on Nov. 7. Young children and their families joined other volunteers to sort children’s clothing, toys and books. I worked with kids to sort clothes by gender, season, and size. The kids could understood that the clothes were going to other children that were in need of warm clothes especially winter clothes and coats as the weather is getting colder. Thanks to all those who participated including the Hochbergs and the Surprenants. Thanks, too, for all those who donated items!
